FAQ

  • I am interested in learning more, but am not ready to schedule a session yet. Can we talk first?

You are welcome to schedule a complimentary 10-15 minute phone consultation by contacting me. It is an opportunity to further discuss what you are looking for and answer any questions you may have.

  • How long is a therapy session?

Typically, our first session will be a 60-minute intake. Individual therapy sessions thereafter are usually 50 minutes.

  • How much does a session cost?

The initial hour-long session is $225. After that, 45-50 minute sessions are $175.

  • How often will I need to go to therapy?

Weekly appointments are generally recommended, especially at first as we are establishing your goals for therapy. However, there is flexibility depending on your circumstances. We can discuss a schedule that is tailored to your needs and works best for you.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I am an out of network provider, so I do not take insurance directly. I can provide clients with a monthly invoice called a Superbill, which has all of the information that insurance companies need for reimbursement (which means you would get reimbursed directly through your insurance provider). You should check with your insurance company to see if you have out of network benefits and if you have a deductible.

  • Do you have any flexibility on your fee?

I believe that mental health support should be accessible to everyone and offer some sliding scale fee slots to ensure that my services are affordable for individuals with varying financial circumstances. Please reach out so that together we can discuss options for treatment.
